Vic Bushfires

My heart goes out to all the people and family's that have lost every-think and to those that have lost family and friends, I could not in any way know  just how awfull that would be. This is the most devastating thing that Australia has gone through that I can remember in my life so far. 

To all the wonderful people that are there helping these people  and there family's through this ordeal I say thank-you.

My bother in-law  David along with other personal from South Australia left for Victoria late on Saturday to help out with trying to get these fire's under control. He is still there and my sister dosn't know when he will be back.

 Here in South AuAustralia on Saturday with  the temperature up around 45C  we where just so lucky it did'nt happen here as well.

Well all I can say is I'm thinging of all the Victorian people involved and that you are in our prayers.

Lots of classes

Well know the kids and teens are back at school it is time to do something for our self's. I have Helen Stubbings coming to the shop to do a weekend workshop on the 21st & 22nd March. This will be a great weekend. I still have places is there is any one that would like to come. Just ring the shop and I will give you all the details.

I know have Helen's new book in stock as well.

 

The cost of the book is $29.95. It is a beautiful book just to look through.

All good news on the home front. DH loves his new job and yes our beautiful daughter did get her School base apprenticeship in hairdressing.

When we went to sign Tiff's paper work for her apprenticeship they told us that about 10 girls had applied so we are very proud of her.

Also to keep in mind is that Libby Richardson from Art smart craft cottage is also coming to do a work shop in October. I will have more information soon for you.

Classes 2009

Just letting you know about two workshops I have for this year.

I have Helen Stubbings on the week end of the 21st and 22nd of March. I only have five places left for this workshop.

 

On the 11th & 12th of July I have Annie Downs and Natalie Bird. This weekend is filling fast as well. 

If you would like to be part of these workshops please contact the shop.

 

This is another of the blocks out of the BOM that I'm working on.

 

There are lots going on in our world at the moment. My DH starts a new job in two weeks and Tiffany off to a school base apprenticeship interview on Monday.    

As always it is flat out in our house hold. My big man my 19 year old son has lost 54kg which is just unreal.

Well better get back to the shop

It's been along time

Sorry it has been along time since my last post. I have been having computer problems which does not help.

Lots have been going on in the shop and also with my family so after the new year I will be able to let you know all the goings on.

This is just one of the blocks from a new BOM I have designed. I have really enjoyed doing this. I will let you in on more as I machine blanket stitch the blocks

 

Well I hope everybody had a wonderful Christmas. We had a great time with all the family but the day was over so fast.

Well on Tuesday we had a great melbourne cup lunch at the shop and Julie and Denise came dress to impress.

New Fabric

This is just some of Robyn Pandolph new range called Flirt.

 

The charm packs of this range has just been uploaded to the web site. I have also up loaded lots of new things so go and have a look. I'm still adding new patterns as well.

I have some great Christmas panels as well and I will add them as well so look out for them.

Pyap Palms Holiday Home up and running

Well after many weeks of hard work Mark and I finally have the holiday home ready. We are very happy with the way it has come up.

As you can see it looks good.

We had our first guests last Tuesday night and all went well. Didn't get much sleep that night hoping everything was ok!

Gloria Loughman Workshop

Well what a great weekend. We all learned so much. I even manage to have a go which was great. Here are some photo's.

So we had a great time.

I have the the new book from Rosalie Quinlan in the shop. The cost is $36.00. I will have some other new stock on my web site this week as well.

Well after 5 tries I have a post. I don't know how come I have had problems but this one has worked

At Last

Hi ladies sorry it has taken me so long to do a new post. Just been very busy with the shop and setting up the Holiday home. Nealy there with the house. We should be up and running by the end of the month.

Well we had a great time with Leanne, Rosalie, Gail and viv. Here are some photo's.

New Web Site

Just a quick blog to let you all know that our new web site is up and running thanks to Annette and Mel of That's graphic and all there hard work. It looks wonderful and it should be much easer to use.

We may have some teething problems but Annette is so good at what she does there will be no problems.
